Something New to Chew On

I thought I would try something new. Well, new to the blog. Not new to me.

This telling is based on something I began thinking of in 2008, or maybe even 2007. I conceived it as a television show. The main characters, Old Cat and Young Mouse, would be played by humans in costume. Old Cat would be a man and Young Mouse would be a woman. The show would begin with the two of them meeting and chatting. Their dialogue would be filled with innuendo and double entendre. Eventually, one or the other would begin to relate a story. Old Cat's stories would be historical, from his past. Young Mouse's stories would be more recent. At the point where the tales begin the show would revert to animation. The voices for the animation may, ormay not, be the same actors. At the story’s conclusion the show would return to a live action epilogue.

Just an Idea in My Head

Got this idea which has been ruminating around in my head for a few weeks now. It intersects with other ideas on other things and takes energy from them. They bounce around like atomic particles. Quite fascinating to watch.

Anyway, I'm not sure I'm ready to implement it yet, but it's getting close. I think. Hope.

It's similar to what a bunch of us bloggers are doing on Legion of On-Line Super Heroes, only with real cat pictures. I can't honestly say which idea came first, but the Legion blog was hatched first. (The ideas feed on each other, and leave remnants as they pass, so they kind of cross-pollinate.)

This idea would NOT involve readers becoming writers, so don't get all panicky. This would be one of my writing projects. However, should anyone wish to add their creativity that would be fine with me. It's got some more cooking to do, but I wanted to throw a bit out just as a kind of taste test.
